Do you charge a call-out fee?
No - there are no call out charges, all work we carry out is on a fixed-fee basis with no hidden charges - youʼll exactly how much your repair will cost before we carry out the work.
What if you are unable to fix my computer?
If we are unable to fix your computer - there is no charge and we will gladly advise you of your options - again for free!
I have an Apple Mac computer - can you help me?
Yes! Apple Macʼs are becoming ever more popular and even though they donʼt go wrong very often, we have a Mac specialist who will help you make the most out of your Apple!
What will happen to my data when you repair my computer?
We treat your data very carefully, as long as there is not a major fault with your hard drive, we will always carry out a backup of your important files. We can also back your documents up to a DVD for you to keep if required.
I have confidential information on my computer - is it safe?
We work in strict accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998 and will ensure that whilst in our care, your data will remain private. We recommend that you keep any password or personal details in a password protected document, or better still - away from your computer.
I have computers that need fixing at my workplace - can you help?
Yes, Tech4 Home is a subsidiary company of Tech4 Limited - a business IT support company that has been trading since 2001. We can arrange for a consultant or engineer to visit you at work to discuss your requirements.
